Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of technicians across three shifts at multiple workshop locations, ensuring they meet company standards for safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Manage work schedules based on equipment availability and customer operational needs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tool accountability and inventory management.
  • Oversee the Parts & Service Administrator, ensuring accurate documentation in the ERP system, including:
    • Purchasing and inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels.
    • Inventory management of spare parts.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring work processes align with site safety and workflow guidelines.
  • Communicate equipment status and repairs to customers.
  • Keep direct manager informed of all relevant activity, providing detailed updates to manage customer expectations and account for changes to the scope of work.
  • Analyze site activity performance indicators and develop corrective actions.
  • Manage punctual projects related to maintenance stations.
  • Perform other assignments as designated by the Regional Service Manager.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, with a technical degree a strong asset.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot heavy equipment.
  • Shop floor experience and ability to manage work schedules across multiple shifts.
  • Strong leadership skills, with ability to manage and motivate teams.
  • English language proficiency, with French a plus.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to escalate issues as needed.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with 5S and ERP systems.
