Supplier Quality Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Manager to join our team at TE Connectivity. As a key member of our Quality and Reliability Engineering Teams, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products and processes.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement quality control systems to ensure compliance with customer and contractual requirements.
- Analyze and improve the reliability of products and their components through established reliability factors.
- Design and recommend revisions to quality control systems to optimize material and labor costs.
- Conduct failure analysis, root cause analysis, and corrective action to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Manage supplier scorecards and drive focus supplier programs to bring suppliers to excellence.
- Participate in process analysis, design reviews, and product quality to ensure flawless execution of new project launches.
- Collaborate with customers to capture the voice of the customer in TE's manufacturing process.
- Lead a team of Supplier Quality Engineers in the US and Mexico.
- Responsible for incoming inspection and use of advanced risk analysis tools to understand internal and external risk.
- Develop risk mitigation plans to apprise leadership and deliver mature product lines to manufacturing plants.
- BS degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
- Master's in engineering or MBA preferred.
- +10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, product engineering, or a related field.
- Heavy experience in Tier 1/OEM environment.
- Experience with Minitab or other statistical software strongly desirable.
- IATF-16949 requirements - certification preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or advanced knowledge and use of Shainin tools preferred.
- Good working knowledge of automotive control systems.
- Hands-on experience with all tools of IATF 16949, VDA6.3, and Root Cause Analysis.
- A strong sense of urgency and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced global business environment.
- Ability to think out of the box and challenge status-quo.
- Proficiency in working with Microsoft Office tools and other software products.
- Travel within the US, Mexico, and other international locations as required.
