Job Title: Senior Cloud Operations Engineer

About the Role:

Crg Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Operations Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our cloud operations team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing modern enterprise collaboration and web services platforms in a hybrid cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the global IT Infrastructure team to engineer, plan, install, configure, and manage enterprise communication, collaboration, web services, and hybrid-cloud infrastructure.
  • Perform system upgrades, patching, and day-to-day operations with managed service providers, focusing on monitoring, troubleshooting, and capacity management.
  • Work closely with internal IT teams and vendors to achieve project goals and provide ongoing support, including off-hours on-call duties and incident response.
  • Lead technical strategies for enterprise collaboration and hybrid-cloud infrastructure, ensuring reliability, performance, and alignment with best practices.
  • Consult with application analysts and architects during design and operational phases, peer-review technical solutions for alignment with IT standards, and research trends to optimize IT capabilities.
  • Participate in technical design sessions, develop documentation, and prepare project materials such as specifications and test scripts.
  • Manage stakeholder and vendor relationships, ensuring collaboration with internal and external teams to support current and future platforms.

Requirements:

  • 10 years of work experience in the enterprise IT industry encompassing a wide range of skill sets, roles, and industry verticals.
  • 10 years of progressive experience working with 3 or more of the following functional technology areas: Modern Enterprise Collaboration and Web Services platforms, Hybrid-cloud technologies, Microsoft Windows hybrid domain infrastructure environment, Hyper-Converged Infrastructure and datacenter virtualization, Enterprise database, analytic, and reporting platforms.
  • 5 years of experience with infrastructure orchestration and automation, agile IT frameworks, CI/CD platforms and tools, scripting and automating Infrastructure and cloud platforms.
  • Education requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred, or a 10+ years combination of equivalent education and relevant experience.
  • Certification in Enterprise Collaboration & Web Services Platforms, ITIL Certification and experience preferred.
