**Construction Project Manager Lead**:
This individual will oversee the delivery of our New Centre Openings (NCO) and refurbishment programmes in Mexico. The key objective is to ensure timely, budget-friendly, and design-standard-compliant execution.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Programme manage the entire delivery process, collaborating with our external partners to meet expectations, deadlines, and address risks promptly
- Full accountability for scope, programme, and cost
- Ensure our partners align the fit-out with our global design and build standards
- Plan and manage refurbishment and maintenance of our existing estate in Mexico, minimizing disruption to customers and prioritizing Return on Investment
- Effectively manage internal and external stakeholders to prioritize work based on business needs, robustly managing supplier performance according to contractual agreements while maintaining positive relationships
- Utilize a strong network of contacts to partner with the right suppliers
**Key measures of success are**:
- Successfully execute assigned projects within agreed costs, timeline, and IWG specifications
- Enhance the supply chain setup to meet local market price, practice, and standards
- Provide training to new and existing vendors to ensure they fully understand IWG Design & Construction guidelines while delivering NCO/refurbishment works
**Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications**
- Significant project/programme management experience gained in a fast-paced environment such as Retail, Retail banking, Hotels, or Professional consultancy
- Experienced in managing multiple openings to demanding timescales and tight budget controls
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and a customer-first approach
- Highly commercial and results-focused, with significant experience of reducing cost while improving standardization
- High drive with strong attention to detail, able to cope with a high degree of ambiguity, uncertainty, and change
- Strong resilience, with the ability to keep focused on the big picture and end goal
- Previous experience of refurbishment and maintenance management is desirable
- Ability to positively influence multiple stakeholders across countries and cultures
- Experience in selecting and managing preferred partners for large Design and Build programmes through a competitive tender process would be advantageous
