Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled HIL Tester Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you will support the definition of ECUs configuration and setup preparation for testing basic and complex features.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement ECUs configuration and setup for testing.
- Perform manual bench testing and semi-automatic testing.
- Analyze requirements for test cases and create test plans.
- Support technical peer reviews for test cases and test plans.
- Report and resolve software defects.
- Improve test procedures and defect reports.
- Support complex feature test execution.
- Define ECU simulation requirements for bench-level testing.
- Troubleshoot problems and blockers reported by other testers.
- Validate critical gating defects.
- Generate and improve documentation for efficient test runs.
- Support test KPIs generation for monitoring test progress.
Requirements
- Knowledge of cloud or vehicle communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, IP, MQTT, LIN).
- Experience with CAN tools (Vector, Intrepid, etc).
- Proficiency in NI HiL Automation tools (TestStand).
- Testing techniques - functional, non-functional, performance, integration testing (ISTQB).
- Agile/Scrum testing methodologies.
- Test bench/HW SW troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of requirements management tools (Polarion, JIRA, VSEM, Doors).
- Understanding of the V model process.
- Experience in infotainment, connectivity, or driver information testing.
- Python scripting is a plus.
