As a Product Engineer, you will play a critical role in generating technical documentation for harnesses, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and established procedures.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Obtain, analyze, and provide technical information for engineering changes proposed by customers, manufacturing, or engineering teams.
- Load technical information into manufacturing systems, including QAD, UCS, and LMI.
- Ensure accuracy of harness prints, bills of materials (BOM), cutsheets, visual aids, and labor time.
- Update and maintain BOMs according to engineering changes and manufacturing adjustments.
- Analyze engineering change proposals and prepare design change notifications (DCN) for the team.
- Prepare BOM change notifications (BCN) to update BOMs according to engineering changes and/or manufacturing adjustments.
- Create and design packaging specifications for finished goods.
- Develop cost studies for each engineering change proposed by customers.
- Generate and analyze cost reduction ideas (CTO).
**Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- 1 year of experience as a Product Engineer in the automotive industry.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office and Excel skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in English.
