Job Description

As a Senior Card Developer, you will be part of our Cards/ATM Domain team, where you will work on multiple projects to implement the vision and strategy of Cards. Your role will involve:

  • Gathering and clarifying software business requirements;
  • Designing and agreeing solutions with external providers, domain architects, and teams;
  • Performing functional testing on implementations and assisting the QA team with defining test cases;
  • Participating in change management processes;
  • Creating standard functional design documents detailing technical and functional solutions;

You will collaborate with senior engineers, architects, and feature engineers to understand business requirements from various banking areas.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 5 years of experience in Cards Projects or Implementations, with 2 years in a similar role;
  • A good level of applied knowledge in algorithms, IT architecture concepts, database management systems, quality assurance, and data analysis;
  • Understanding of programming languages (Java), XML, JSON, SOAP Services, and RESTful Web Services concepts;
  • Computer proficiency in operating systems, Microsoft SQL databases, and Oracle Database;
  • University degree in IT or Engineering; a background in banking is considered a plus;
  • Experience with Agile methodologies;
  • Teamwork, integrity, loyalty, communication, and customer-oriented behavior;
  • Ability to cope with change, planning, and organizing skills;
  • Quality orientation and attention to details, problem-solving attitude;
  • Language proficiency in English (verbal: advanced, written: advanced);
  • Good organizational skills and commitment to fast follow-through;
  • Strong Service Delivery mindset and ability to visualize and shape business understanding;
  • Experience with EMVCo and Visa & Mastercard documentation is a plus;
  • Experience with automation frameworks and CI/CD tooling (Azure DevOps or GitLab) is also a plus.

Estimated salary range: €60,000 - €90,000 per year.
