Job Summary

The Program Administrator will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing project documentation for Vertiv projects. This position will also support Program Managers in developing standard procedural documents for future projects. Key responsibilities include Oracle ordering, Procore system development, material tracking, and coordinating key information for reports and updates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a project calendar with regular scheduled meetings, report dates, and key events.
  • Support Program Managers on ad-hoc requests and issues requiring management.
  • Work on all projects, including large complex projects with significant short- and long-term impacts to the business.
  • Participate in developing and implementing policy and procedures to drive ongoing improvement efforts.
  • Support Program Managers in preparing, designing, and updating project reports, including sourcing up-to-date KPI information.
  • Take initiative with limited direction to execute requirements.
  • Establish effective communication routes with key project reps, Vertiv executives, and customer representatives to identify information at variance to the plan.
  • Support Program Managers in developing a data centre standard project life cycle and process for future projects.
  • Support Program Managers to identify key project information, records, and procedures, and act as backup to run meetings and address project issues when the Program Manager is out of office.
  • Ensure project records are uploaded to the project intranet and designated project management system to maintain good practice.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, construction, or manufacturing.
  • Demonstrates ability to plan, set priorities, organize, and coordinate work with others.
  • Built good relationships.
  • Persuasive, assertive, demonstrates diplomacy and tact.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, including cooperation, courtesy, assertiveness, and non-defensiveness, accepting constructive criticism, and maintaining confidences.
  • Demonstrates good customer relation skills by providing prompt personalized service.
  • Effectively handles stressful situations, resolving conflicts and meeting deadlines.
Education and Certifications

Bachelor's Degree in a business or engineering or technical field preferred (or equivalent of education and experience).
