Our company is a leading manufacturer of innovative products, and we are seeking a highly skilled Commodity Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement department, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing cost reduction strategies for raw materials.

**Key Responsibilities**:

• Lead all phases of the sourcing process, including negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers.

• Collaborate with the product development and engineering team to provide solutions based on customer needs.

• Develop and maintain relationships with current suppliers, as well as identify and qualify new suppliers.

• Analyze and present results to management on a regular basis, providing insights on cost savings and supplier performance.

• Provide support to the R&D and procurement department to source new parts and materials for new and existing products.

• Drive workshops with cross-functional teams to develop and implement ideas that minimize the total cost of raw materials.

• Manage the entire contract life cycle from request for proposal to supplier exit.

**Requirements**:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in English (90%) and knowledge of Chinese is a plus.
