Freight Courier II

Job Summary

FedEx Express Latin America and Caribbean Division is seeking a skilled Freight Courier II to join our team. As a Freight Courier II, you will be responsible for providing courteous and efficient delivery, sorting, and pick-up of heavy weight packages.

Key Responsibilities

• Accomplish accurate and timely pick-up, selection, inspection, and delivery of assigned packages.
• Ensure proper labeling, legality of content, proper wrapping, insurance values, special requirements for hazardous material shipment, and compliance with Customs documentations required at destination.
• Provide necessary paperwork relating to the pick-up and delivery of packages, such as airway bills, delivery records, vehicle conditions, Duties/Taxes invoices with neatness and accuracy.
• Ensure proper security of FedEx and customer property, such as cash, packages, equipment, and hazardous materials.
• Operate vehicle safely and efficiently, complying with specific country regulations and corporate policies.

Requirements

• High School degree/Equivalent.
• Six months FedEx Express Courier Experience.
• Appropriate license for vehicle assigned in accordance with specific country regulations.
• Good driving record.
• Ability to operate forklift.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs.
• Neat and clean cut appearance.
• Good verbal and writing communication skills, human relations, and team player.
