This position is responsible for designing and developing electrical and electronic systems for Nissan vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop electrical and electronic components and systems to meet established requirements and specifications.
- Update and release drawings to suppliers and work with suppliers through the entire life cycle of parts.
- Conduct system-level reviews with other design groups to ensure compliance with Nissan's internal specifications and standards.
- Manage cost and weight of assigned parts to meet or exceed targets.
- Analyze warranty reduction and JDP IQS data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to reduce customer dissatisfaction.
- Work with Nissan's global team to coordinate development projects and review internal specifications, requirements, and standards for electronics.
- Closely coordinate with suppliers to achieve Nissan's test requirements.
- Conduct logical problem-solving activities through root cause analysis and countermeasure proposal to effectively close concern issues.
- Desirable Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Automotive, or Mechatronic Engineering.
- Nissan School or internship experience in the automotive industry or electronic industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of communication protocols, embedded systems, microcontrollers, and signals.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Matlab.
- Desirable knowledge of DRBFM (FMEA/Root Cause Analysis).
- Advanced level of written and verbal communication skills in English.
- High level of flexibility to work with international teams and suppliers.
- Proficiency in NX CAD and MS Office Suite.
