**Key Responsibilities:**
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the plastic injection molding department, including production, quality, and machine performance.
- Lead a team of molding operators, technicians, and supervisors, ensuring they are trained and meeting performance goals.
- Develop and implement production schedules to maximize machine utilization and minimize downtime.
- Monitor process parameters to ensure consistent quality and address any deviations in real time to maintain production targets.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality control, and maintenance teams to resolve production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Drive continuous improvement projects aimed at reducing cycle times, scrap rates, and enhancing product quality.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, conduct safety audits, and promote a culture of safety within the department.
- Oversee regular preventive maintenance on molds, machines, and auxiliary equipment, ensuring all are in optimal working condition.
- Evaluate and implement new materials, molding technologies, and processes to improve overall efficiency and reduce costs.
- Maintain production reports and key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring the department meets or exceeds its goals.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in plastic injection molding operations, with at least 2+ years in a supervisory or management role.
- Proficient in troubleshooting injection molding machines, processes, and molds.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
