Overview

PepsiCo is a leading food and beverage company with a rich history of innovation and growth. We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team in Mexico.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing, recording, and providing documentation and accounting adjustments to ensure the financial closure of Latam Headquarters Activities. Additionally, they will prepare, integrate, and execute the financial report in the HFM system to provide reliable information to shareholders based on corporate policies from PepsiCo.

Your Impact
  • Execute the month-end close process (GL-JE) and ensure all related tasks are completed timely and in compliance with PepsiCo requirements.
  • Ensure the accounting process is compliant with all control requirements.
  • Generate information for filling out the required management financial reports.
  • Prepare and review the monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Analyze balance sheet reviews to ensure no unexpected financial impacts.
  • Execute financial reports for PepsiCo (Smartview / FDM - HFM).
  • Support the business unit in the form of various financial analyses to assist the business in its controlling and decision-making processes.
  • Participate in periodic, quarterly, and annual reports required by the organization.
  • Generate clear communication with OU, Intercompany counterparts, and other users throughout the region and in the SSC.
  • Strong networking with all Country Latam Teams.
Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with a University Degree in Finance or Accounting and experience in accounting US GAAP, control environment, and Sox compliance. Additionally, they should have experience in financial statement preparation and reporting in a large company, multi-unit environment. Strong Excel skills and intermediate/advanced level English are required. Communication skills are necessary as the individual will be required to interact with employees of all levels, including upper management, not only in Mexico but internationally as well.
