**Job Summary**:
Nordson Medical is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring that manufacturing operations follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and Procedures.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform production activities and manufacturing order completions in the order assigned on the production program.
- Write and sign documentation upon completion of each step in the manufacturing build packet.
- Meet production standards, defined by engineering, as assigned per the parts per goal.
- Work under the supervision of the production leader or Captain and follow their instructions.
- Attend regular meetings to update data, guidelines, and objectives.
**Requirements:**
- Elementary school education.
- Reading, writing, and basic math operations.
- Understanding of common machines, welding of small pieces, and assemblies.
- Good level of communication in English and Spanish.
**Working Conditions:**
The employee will frequently be required to stand, walk, and use hands and fingers. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 5 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee will work in a clean room environment and use special gown, protection devices for ears, eyes, and hands.
