Job Summary

Kronospan is seeking a skilled Saw Operator to join our team. As a Saw Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all bonding line equipment, presses, saws, and associated machinery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain saws and other equipment to ensure optimal production levels
  • Monitor and track raw materials using computer systems
  • Produce orders according to plan and inspect materials for quality
  • Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve issues and improve processes

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software
  • Ability to set up, operate, troubleshoot, and adjust press and other equipment
  • Attention to detail and ability to perform visual and manual material inspections
  • Excellent attendance record and ability to work a rotating shift schedule
