Overview:
The role of the IT Business Intelligence Specialist is to provide company-wide strategic, analytical and technical support for business intelligence activities. This includes partnering with stakeholders, process specialists, and users to elicit and document business requirements; translating non-technical requirements into technical business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis to define and document business requirements for new metrics and reports.
- Use current knowledge of business and technology to recommend system solutions and process improvements.
- Support prototyping by creating reports to validate business requirements.
- Assist users with the creation of requirements, access to platforms, service now tickets or ad hoc reports.
- Partner with business users to plan, conduct, get approval on user acceptance testing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree required in Administration, IT or related fields.
- Availability to travel internationally for business purposes.
- +3 Years of experience managing data, analytics and being involved in business IT projects.
- Fluent in English.
Portuguese is a plus.
- Experience in Automotive Financial sector is desirable..
- Prior Business Intelligence or Decision Management System experience
- Experience documenting use cases and process mapping.
- Experience with Cognos Report Studio, or other end-user reporting tool.
- Experience with Dev Ops or other requirements management tool.
- Experience with requirement documentation to detail or high level.
- Knowledge of the system requirements definition processes and modeling methods and tools.
- Outstanding communication skills in both written and spoken format.
