Job Summary:
The Mechanical Design Supervisor - Automation Engineering will be responsible for leading the design and development of automation engineering projects, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards for safety and user safety. This role will also be responsible for managing monetary resources, planning, ordering, receiving, integrating, installing, validating, and releasing automated equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of automation engineering projects, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards for safety and user safety.
- Manage monetary resources, planning, ordering, receiving, integrating, installing, validating, and releasing automated equipment.
- Work closely with different departments to assign priorities to automation needs triggered by business strategies or ergonomic observations.
- Participate in monthly delivery of information on automation projects to management and corporate, as well as information exchange meetings between plants or regional areas.
- Monitor training plans of personnel who will use the automations, maintenance personnel, and cross-training for continuous development.
- Design, develop, integrate, install, validate, and produce all automations.
- Ensure that the work team complies with training managed for good performance of the automations, as well as mandatory and legal training.
- Meet and ensure that staff complies with strategic goals and objectives.
- Participate in the 6S Program, ensuring compliance with program regulations and carrying out required activities as an Auditor, Coordinator, Leader, or member of the Committee.
- Participate in Safety and Environmental Systems, ensuring compliance with system requirements and carrying out involved activities.
- Conduct work safely, efficiently, and ethically.
- Develop other activities assigned by management to support company operations.
- Ensure the effectiveness of the quality management system and availability of necessary resources to achieve it.
- Conduct self in accordance with the guidelines of the quality policy and ensure that it is communicated and understood at all levels.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechatronics, Robotics, Electronics, Electromechanics, Electrical, Mechanical).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the area of design and development of automation engineering projects.
- 3 or more years of automation experience.
- Knowledge in mechanical design, electrical control, PLC programming, and Fanuc robots.
- Advanced English communications skills.
