Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated professional to work as a Materials Manager, based in our E-Systems Division in Mexico.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the timely supply of productive and indirect materials required, ensuring delivery conditions.
- Comply with corporate processes for premium freight administration and generation of purchase orders.
- Track inventory value through the Inventory Entitlement tool.
- Coordinate the team to establish inventory reduction actions.
- Standardize procurement processes, monitor charges and recovery of impacts with suppliers, audit procurement, premium freight, inventories, and logistic parameters, and follow up problematic suppliers.
- Support the physical inventory process of the plants.
- Manage and control inventory budget.
Requirements:
- Industrial, Mechanic, Electric, or Mechatronics Engineer degree.
- 1+ years of experience as a Manager in the Automotive industry.
- Knowledge of MRP, Supply Chain, inventory controls, premium freight, and ERP Systems (QAD, SAP, Oracle).
- Proven leadership experience as a department manager and site management team member.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Proficient English language skills.
- Strong analytical skills, creativity, initiative, persistence, and open-mindedness.
- Capacity for analysis, communication, and organizational skills.
