Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Security Technician to join our team at Jabil Careers. As a Security Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the security system, performing repairs, and ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate fire alarm control panels in different modes for all buildings.
  • Manage the fire panel, including turning sensors on and off, and contacting emergency services as needed.
  • Develop expertise in the use of the CCTV system, including programming presets and macros.
  • Troubleshoot security system problems and correct them where possible, contacting outside contractors as necessary.
  • Maintain records of repairs and inform the Security System Administrator of any work completed.
  • Assist in the installation of new equipment and provide training to staff on its use.
  • Control and create keys for office spaces, lockers, and desks as needed.
  • Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position.
  • Comply with and enforce all procedures within the company security policy.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree from a two-year college or technical school, or equivalent experience and training.
  • One year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Familiarity with C.C.T.V and card access systems.
  • Ability to learn locksmithing skills.
