Job Summary

As a Senior Tax Compliance Specialist at Emerson Electric, you will be responsible for ensuring fully tax compliance for assigned entities. This includes attending tax and finance audits, ensuring Social Security and local tax obligations, and coordinating and submitting compliance reports according to the Legal Entities assigned.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure tax compliance for US GAAP and MX GAAP purposes
  • Prepare Federal and local tax returns submission on time
  • Prepare Annual Transfer pricing analysis
  • Coordinate Annual IMSS and local tax audit opinion with HR team
  • Attend Tax, Social Security and local reviews
  • Report Tax Matters to corporate according to Emerson's Policies and procedures
  • Ensure proper tax accounting and reconciliation
  • Ensure compliance with REPSE/Condusef/CNBV obligations (according to Entities assigned)
  • Prepare VAT refund request for assigned entities
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as a Tax Analyst Senior in international entities
  • USGAAP and MEXGAAP Tax calculation/provision experience
  • Tax and Finance audit participation experience
  • Transfer pricing support experience
  • VAT returns and requirements attendance experience
