Job Summary

The Billing Specialist will be responsible for aiding with account billings and collections, having an integral part in both billing and accounting tasks. This position reports to the Director of Billing and is an essential member of the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Invoice Review: Conduct high-level reviews of invoices in Salesforce, ensuring billing instructions are accurate and processes are followed.
  • Aging Management: Oversee timely collections and follow-ups, maintaining clear collection notes on assigned accounts.
  • Escalation Management: Resolve escalated issues, including invoice reviews, special projects, and customer inquiries.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate and review Salesforce reports, create Pivot Tables - VLOOKUP's, Macros and present insights to executives and customers.
  • Department Reporting: Prepare and update reports for both Billing and Accounting.
  • Training and Development: Provide technical and accounting training to improve team performance.

Requirements

  • Advanced Excel & Reporting: Expertise in Excel and report writing is essential.
  • Leadership: At least one year in a leadership role with proven team management skills.
  • Organization & Detail: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to interact with all levels, including senior management.
  • Salesforce Experience: Preferred experience with Salesforce.
  • Teamwork & Independence: Capable of working collaboratively or independently as required.
  • Education: BA/BS in Finance, Business, or Accounting preferred.
