About the Role

As a key member of our team at TE Connectivity, you will play a critical role in leading the development and execution of our global supply chain strategy. This position is responsible for managing the end-to-end downstream supply chain processes, ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a global team by providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve planning accuracy and drive profitable growth.
  • Develop and execute a sound and optimal supply chain strategy, including internal and external capacity planning.
  • Monitor and improve the supply plan using analytical, statistical, and smart tools to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Accountable for orders scheduling, backlog, past due, and rescheduling processes.
  • Accountable for an optimal inventory strategy to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
  • Accountable for business distribution and logistics, including warehouse, transportation, and drop shipments.
  • Participate in the S&OP process, leading the supply planning and analysis to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Understand sales trends and shipment patterns and integrate this information into planning parameters to ensure accurate supply planning.
  • Communicate and manage abnormal or constraint events from internal capacity and supplier side through the S&OP process to inform business financial projections.

Requirements

  • Able to multi-task, remain highly organized, and thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Tableau, or related BI digital tools.
  • Knowledge and business acumen of global supply chain logistics and planning and its impact on business P&L.
  • Experience in SAP MRP systems, IBP demand and supply planning a plus.
  • Experience working on complex problems and systems that require out-of-the-box solutions.
  • Experience in different manufacturing environments, specifically low-volume, high-mix, and configure-to-order.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, or equivalent. MBA a plus.
  • APICS or SIOE-P certifications.
  • Advanced planning for new product introduction experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, and S&OE planning.

Nice to Have

  • SAP and related digital planning tools deployment experience.
  • Lean manufacturing concepts and certification.
  • Project management certification.
