**Job Overview**
At Te Connectivity Corporation, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team of professionals to create innovative solutions for a safer, more connected, and sustainable world.
**Responsibilities:**
- Organize and facilitate Design Review (DR) and Design Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (DFMEA) reviews to ensure the quality and reliability of our products.
- Implement quality planning and controls for prototype and/or sample builds, and manage build records and documents to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Complete measurement system analysis for inspection systems and gages to be utilized for the project, and review and analyze samples, quality issues, and improvement actions during the developing stage.
- Involve and drive for design verification before design freeze and product qualification testing before Gate5 of the project, and conduct and analyze process capability studies in support of Final Tool Approval (FTAR) for all tools and production lines associated with the project.
- Implement quality controls and documentation needed for production shop floor, and monitor process capability and oversee ongoing corrective actions as required.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's Degree (High School +4 years)
- 10+ years of quality control experience in cable assembly/connector/socket or relevant industry
- Understanding of ISO9001 quality system
- Experience with SPC, FMEA, MSA, and 7-QC tools
- Statistical Process Control techniques
- Understanding of Model Based Dimensioning (MBD) and requirements
- Understanding of GD&T definition and requirements
- APQP procedure and requirements
- EIA-364 test procedures
- Ability to foster teamwork and internal and external relationships
