Job Summary

As a Customs Operations Coordinator at Vertiv, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth processing of day-to-day customs operations in accordance with applicable laws, guidelines, policies, and procedures established by the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage customs documentation, including import and export declarations, certificates of origin, and other relevant documents.
  • Coordinate temporary and definitive imports and exports, ensuring compliance with regulations and company procedures.
  • Oversee special operations, such as virtuals, change of regime, and regularization, to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Manage US Customs documentation, including Prosec and Rule 8th, to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Conduct customs documents audits and validations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain procedures and catalogs related to customs operations.
  • Process payments related to customs operations.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Knowledge of Annex 31 and Annex 24 regulations.
  • Experience with ERP systems and interfaces.
  • Strong understanding of customs law and regulations.
  • Bachelor's degree in International Trade and Customs, with a focus on Annex 24 systems.
  • 3-5 years of experience in IT or customs environment.
