About the Role

In this position, you will gain valuable experience in multiple aspects of the procurement process and the SAP procurement module, driving business growth and efficiency for syncreon America Inc.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and address inbound requests to the Purchasing Shared Service Center for the North American Region, including vendor setup, purchase order creation, and updates.
  • Resolve parked invoices, conducting root cause analysis to identify and address issues.
  • Run reports to inform business decisions and optimize procurement processes.
  • Provide purchasing process and systems support to internal stakeholders.
  • Create Purchase Requests for multiple locations as required.
  • Provide coverage for other specialists when they are absent, ensuring seamless business operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support business objectives.

Requirements

  • Ability to speak, read, and write English and Spanish fluently.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • 1 year's experience in a Shared Services or Purchasing Administrative support role.
  • Basic understanding of the Procure to Pay process, request for quotation (RFQ) process, and cost reduction and supply base rationalization.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
  • Ability to work independently to achieve business goals.
  • High level of motivation and a results-driven approach.
  • Critical Thinking – Ability to identify inefficiencies, analyze them from multiple perspectives, and develop strategies to address the root cause.
  • Experience within SAP and/or Oracle is preferred.
  • Ability to work well in cross-functional teams that include internal and external customers and suppliers.
