The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and procurement, with a proven track record of improving efficiency and reducing costs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement logistics and procurement strategies to meet business objectives
  • Manage a team of logistics and procurement professionals to ensure seamless execution of supply chain operations
  • Analyze market trends and make recommendations to improve procurement processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on supply chain goals and objectives
  • Purchase supplies and materials according to specifications
  • Coordinate and supervise reception and storage procedures
  • Supervise the distribution of supplies in the organization
  • Control inventory levels and ensure material availability during emergencies
  • Supervise, evaluate and train subordinates
  • Maintain relationships and negotiate with suppliers
  • Keep detailed records on procurement activity, quantity of materials, specifications, etc.
  • Assist in forecasting to plan future orders

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in logistics and procurement
  • Proven track record of improving efficiency and reducing costs
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as logistics or business administration

Benefits

This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive salary range of $150,000.00 - $180,000.00 per month. Work location: In person.
