Financial Records Management

The Financial Records Manager is responsible for maintaining and updating financial records for Tacna using Epicor ERP software or related systems. This role will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Epicor ERP software.
  • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Manage the company's general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Generate financial reports for management and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions to improve financial efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide support to other members of the finance team as needed.

Tacna is a fast-growing international engineering and manufacturing company seeking an experienced financial professional with Epicor experience to work in the Tijuana office and ability to work in the San Diego office once a week.

Requirements:
  • 3+ years' experience using Epicor ERP software.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A degree in accounting or a related field.
  • AR/AP experience.
  • Bank reconciliation experience.
  • Professional certifications, such as a CPA or CMA, may also be preferred.
