Safety and Hygiene Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety and Hygiene Director to join our team at Aspire Recruitment Solutions. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and hygiene standards within the plant.

• Develop and implement safety, health, and environmental programs across the plant.
• Manage and coordinate all safety and environmental initiatives to prevent accidents, environmental incidents, and occupational diseases.
• Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and national laws related to safety, health, and environmental issues.
• Monitor safety performance through the analysis of incident trends and ensure continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and regulatory bodies to maintain a safe work environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in managing safety, health, and environmental programs in an industrial setting.
• In-depth knowledge of safety and environmental standards such as ISO 14000, OHSAS 18001, and GMP.
• Experience with safety risk assessments and developing and conducting safety training programs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to lead teams and influence a safety-first culture.
• Proven ability to manage and ensure compliance with both local and international regulations.

• At least 5 years of experience in the field of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proven track record of implementing safety, health, and environmental policies and leading safety initiatives.
• Experience in working with local and national regulatory bodies and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
