About the Role

We are seeking an experienced EH&S Engineer to join our team at 847 Flextronics Manufacturing Juarez S De Rl De Cv. As an EH&S Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, customers, and the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and implement Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) programs on-site and off-site, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Oversee the maintenance of buildings, furniture, and fixtures, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements.
  • Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and develop action plans to reduce risks and prevent future occurrences.
  • Provide guidance and direction to employees on EH&S policies and procedures, and act as an advisor to management on EH&S matters.
  • Develop and implement training programs on industrial safety, civil protection, environment, and health.
  • Ensure the implementation and certification of ISO standards.
  • Function as an emergency coordinator, developing and driving emergency response and business continuity initiatives.
Requirements
  • Intermediate English proficiency.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in Sustainability, EH&S, and knowledge of related regulations, codes, and guidelines.
  • Previous experience in EH&S, renewable energy, water conservation, and sustainability activities within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret safety guidelines, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
