About the Role

The Credit Risk Analyst is a developing professional role at Citi, responsible for analyzing financial trends, indicators, and client data to support credit decisions. This role requires a strong understanding of financial analysis, risk management, and credit evaluation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform financial statement analysis and credit risk assessment for new and existing borrowing relationships.
  • Manage risk associated with client business financial statements, including spreads, customer accounting systems, and early warning systems.
  • Monitor compliance with borrowing base credit facility and ensure satisfactory ratings from internal and external auditors.
  • Collaborate with Underwriting Manager to discuss and consider credit decisions.
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate credit risk and improve financial performance.
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of experience in a financial institution with a focus on credit analysis and spreading software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and diplomacy skills, with the ability to present complex information to stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field, such as finance, economics, or business.
