As a Quotation and Order Management Professional, you'll be part of our Quote and Order Delivery team, responsible for all aspects of customer service to both external and internal clientele.

Job Description

You will be handling inbound customer calls and emails as a key member of our Distribution Inside Sales Team. Your responsibilities will include preparing quotes and processing orders in SAP from various channels, providing first-line technical information, researching and proposing unique and alternative solutions for customers, working with Technical Parts Support and Pricing to update or add new materials in SAP, consulting with sales teams, purchasing groups, design teams, sourcing, and logistics to ensure seamless service delivery.

In addition, you'll be initiating, tracking, and following up on quote requests and lead time inquiries, serving as a direct contact link for sales and external customers, enhancing communication and service, identifying opportunities to upsell by recommending additional items beyond the initial inquiry, recognizing and addressing customer and internal sales/service needs through effective communication, reviewing and preparing responses to customer inquiries related to Mining Services, crushing, and screening products, supporting other CSR workloads during peak times or absences, conducting instructional classroom and on-the-job training for new employees, facilitating critical customer service requests across departments, and being available for after-hours and occasional weekend emergency activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • An Associate's degree in a technical field or business is required; a Bachelor's degree is desirable.
  • Customer service or related experience, with technical knowledge in the industry.
  • Able to understand and work with equipment manuals, schematics, parts lists, and blueprints.
  • Understanding of product terminology and part numbers; a willingness to continually learn about technical aspects of products.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, basic Excel, Access, and PowerPoint), email, and the Internet.
