About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior.Net Backend Developer to join our team at S&P Global. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop complex software systems using C# and.NET technologies.
  • Lead the development of new software products and enhancements to existing products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, following industry best practices and coding standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements in the field of software development.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience as a software engineer.
  • 6+ years of experience in C#.NET, including Web services.
  • 4+ years of professional experience with SQL Server, including stored procedures, design patterns, and covering indexes.
  • Fluent English conversational and written skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Task Parallel Library (TPL) dataflow design.
  • Familiarity with APIs and deep knowledge of HTTP request/response handling in.NET.
  • Exceptional multitasking skills in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience with performance and optimization problems and a demonstrated ability to diagnose and prevent these problems.
  • Comfort working in a highly agile, fast-paced, intensely iterative software development process.
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to achieve consensus with peers and provide clear status updates.
  • An inclination towards communication, inclusion, and visibility.
  • Experience owning a task or project from concept to production, including proposal, discussion, and execution.
  • Self-motivated and self-managing, with excellent organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work closely with the team and other parts of the organization.

  • Positive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to provide on-call or after-hours support as needed (limited) on a rotation basis.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary range: $125,000 - $165,000.
