Housekeeping Manager Job Description


The Marine Corps Community Services is seeking a skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient operation of assigned areas within the housekeeping department.



Main Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage a multi-cultural housekeeping team, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and development.
  • Prepare and certify timecards for employees and coordinate with the Guest Service Manager and Facility Manager to plan for peak periods and efficiently schedule staff.
  • Act as a Card Holder for non-appropriated fund purchase card, purchasing and maintaining inventory stock to control costs and ensure adequate supplies.
  • Manage Lost and Found items, documenting and processing them correctly and responding to inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Provide World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy, solving problems quickly, and alerting supervisors when necessary.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and standards, reporting workplace hazards and accidents, and ensuring safety training is provided to employees.
