Key Responsibilities

  • Update accounts receivable and issue invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements in accordance with the company's legal and financial guidelines.
  • Assist with review of expenses, payroll records, and other financial data as assigned.
  • Update financial data in databases to ensure information is accurate and immediately available when needed.
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports to stakeholders.
  • Assist senior accountants in preparing monthly and annual closings.
  • Assist with other accounting tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar accounting role.
  • Strong analytical and logical skills, with a focus on audit and internal control.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
  • Knowledge and management of ERP systems, with a preference for SAP accounting software.
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment at an early-stage company is a plus.
  • Deep customer focus and empathy, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Instinct on how to make tradeoffs between elegance and efficiency.
  • Excel at working cross-functionally and being a collaborative team player.
  • Excellent communicator and problem-solver.

Work Arrangements

Full-time remote-hybrid role in Ciudad de México, CDMX.

Compensation

$15,000.00 - $18,000.00 per month.
