Key Responsibilities- Programming and Optimization: Develop, support, and optimize control equipment in manufacturing and testing processes, ensuring the fulfillment of organizational objectives.
- Equipment Installation and Commissioning: Install, commission, and establish standard operating procedures for new equipment, tooling, and devices.
- Workstation Development: Develop, integrate, and install workstations according to BorgWarner standards.
- SCADA System Management: Manage the SCADA system for data collection and management in manufacturing processes.
- Software Management: Manage software required for control equipment and ensure adequate backup.
- Collaboration and Problem-Solving: Coordinate with the Manufacturing Engineering area to optimize control and safety systems, participate in corrective and preventive actions, and conduct statistical studies to detect failures and improve processes.
- Education: Electronics Engineer, Mechatronics Engineer, Instrumentation, or related field.
- Experience: 2 years or more in a similar position.
- Technical Knowledge: Manufacturing Process, Quality Systems, Automation, Industrial Electronics, Basic Hydraulics and Pneumatics, Statistical Process Control.
- Software Skills: TIA Portal, RS Logix 5000, Visual Basic, Tools Talk, BS350, Factory Talk View, In-Sight, LabView.
