**Job Summary**
Hitachi Mexico, S.A. De C.V. is seeking a highly skilled Process Improvement Specialist to join its Reynosa, Mexico location. This role is responsible for driving safety, quality, productivity, and overall operational excellence performance.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Analyze manufacturing process flows and related data to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to enhance safety, quality, and cost reduction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement process improvements, capital projects, and operational initiatives.
• Investigate technical problems and establish procedures to prevent recurrences, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
• Provide support to production during internal and external process/equipment start-ups, defining action plans and training relevant resources.
• Evaluate new process technologies to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction, and lead testing activities and approval criteria.
• Develop and execute capital expenditure initiatives to drive business growth and improvement.
• Embody Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for your actions and caring for your colleagues and the business.
**Requirements:**
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field and a minimum of 2+ years of experience in process improvement or a related field.
• Lean manufacturing training and experience working with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and methodologies such as Kaizen, 4Q, Process Improvement, Continuous Improvement, DMAIC, Gemba, etc.
• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
