To deliver sustainable business outcomes and ensure the integrity and continuity of AutoZone's systems, this role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting hardware, software, and/or network sub-systems. This includes applying domain knowledge, using technical skills, mentoring less experienced team members, supporting customers, resolving problems, and training as required.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in all roles of the sub-systems development life cycle, including development, maintenance, and support of software applications, debugging, coding, testing, writing documentation, and production support.
- Update job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment, and continuously learning AutoZone's culture, methodology, architecture, and software.
- Mentor and teach less experienced team members.
- Accurately plan and execute work, track projects and time, and maintain expertise in AutoZone's software, architecture, and methodology.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in software development, with advanced proficiency in AutoZone's software, architecture, and methodology.
- Technical skills in operative systems, programming languages, databases, BI/ETL tools, TCP/IP, networking, and LAN administration.
- Strong problem-solving, domain technical, and analytical skills, with expertise in at least one technical area.
- Ability to perform tasks with little or no technical supervision.
