Sales Representative

As a Noregon Sales Professional, you will be responsible for developing new business sales and prospects in your territory, working closely with the Regional Sales Manager on territory management and account planning. You will need to be a self-motivated, tech-savvy individual driven to succeed, with a strong ability to understand and overcome customer buying objections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage your territory by developing new business sales and prospects, keeping an active schedule sufficient to grow revenue.
- Develop and implement an aggressive prospecting plan to uncover sales opportunities.
- Generate leads through self-conducted research and networking, actively making multiple cold calls and setting appointments looking for new business opportunities.
- Conduct demos showcasing how our technology will improve their business and reduce repair times.
- Train customers to ensure renewal of software.
- Utilize ERP to record, maintain & report customer information.
Requirements:
- Minimum of three (3) years outside sales experience.
- Associate degree in Automotive Technology or related field preferred but not required.
- Experience in the diagnostic tool industry a plus.
- Cold calling and prospecting: good business acumen including sales quota achievement and closing sales.
Additional Skills and Eligibility Requirements:
- Outstanding relationship-building skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to adapt to quick business changes.
- Excellent follow-up skills and a sense of urgency when dealing with customers.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a home office environment, with hours divided between working out of a home office and traveling to prospective clients' businesses providing demos.
Physical Requirements:
This is an active role with some on-site vehicle demonstration may be required, requiring the ability to enter heavy-duty trucks and gain access to various engine components as needed.
Travel Requirements:
Up to 75% of the time.
