* Provide leadership for site-specific safety, environmental, engineering, maintenance, capital projects, standards compliance, recruitment, and training initiatives.
* Collaborate with plant resources and suppliers to achieve 'best in class' manufacturing cost performance.
* Develop and implement process technologies to support new product development initiatives and improve existing operational manufacturing performance.

* Ensure process uniformity and accountability, and implement the use of existing and new manufacturing procedures.
* Provide technical leadership for plant-specific initiatives, including Lean and Demand Flow strategies.
* Coordinate efforts with manufacturing operations, advanced manufacturing technology, planning, and purchasing to analyze in-house and supplier capabilities and identify capacity shortfalls.
* Responsible for budget creation and management of operations capital spending.
