History Educator

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced History Teacher to join our team at Teach Away. As a History Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching History to Middle School students, with a focus on developing their critical thinking and analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Teach History to Middle School students, using innovative and active methodologies to engage students and promote learning.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of students with varying learning styles and abilities.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and instructional strategies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in History, Anthropology, Social Studies, or Sociology.
• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience, with a focus on History.
• Teaching credential or license.
• Experience preparing students for contests and using technology in the classroom.
