Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Management Professional to join our expanding team. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will be an integral part of our project management and field team, responsible for ensuring the successful execution of projects from pre-construction through project closeout.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and support regular meetings with hotel ownership and establish credibility as a key project member to the client.
  • Coordinate related change orders with in-field management, subs, and ownership, and ensure understanding of SOW changes through project process.
  • Schedule and monitor key metrics, milestones to ensure quality and schedule is maintained.
  • Assist with schedule setup process, updates, and publications, and coordinate support project during pre-con, active con, and closeout.
  • Manage subcontractor relationships, draft SOW documents, and maintain awareness of and ensure sub compliance.
  • Own the understanding of SOW, PIP, plans, and issue resolution, and work with subs and field team to identify, understand, and resolve field issues.
  • Coordinate payment inquiries and resolution, and review payments to vendors and subs following current process/compliance.
  • Monitor, manage submission, and follow up on RFI's, submittals, and CO's, and produce and distribute logs for Submittals, RFI's, CO's per SOPs.
  • Support weekly and monthly updates for client distribution, and communicate with designer, architect, and procurement vendors and/or employees.
  • Manage Construction & Hotel Brand Compliance, and establish foundational understanding of brand standards and design scheme requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or similar experience.
  • 2-3 years of construction project management experience and/or tenant improvement experience.
  • Fully proficient in English, and ability to travel to the US at least 25% in role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel, and experience with PlanGrid and Bluebeam preferred.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled, energetic, and motivated individual with a background in hotel, commercial, tenant improvement, or retail construction experience. You should be comfortable acting independently, have impeccable communication skills, and be able to maintain high morale among subcontractors and employees.
