Couplings Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Couplings Specialist to join our team at Timken. As a Couplings Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing profitable sales growth strategies for targeted couplings opportunities.

• Develop and manage strategic accounts to drive incremental market share growth and exceed annual sales objectives.
• Conduct sales and technical support with the highest level of integrity and professionalism to make our products the lead specification for customers.
• Effectively manage through each distributor and OEM organization's specification process to find key decision makers and leverage local success.
• Develop a thorough understanding of each customer's requirements and clearly communicate expectations to exceed those expectations.
• Identify and implement strategies to achieve significant sales growth by evaluating new customer opportunities, applications, and customer specifications.
• Communicate market conditions, competitive environment, and industry trends to sales management to assist in developing executable plans and forecasts.
• Document a repeatable selling strategy by leveraging application successes and documented value-add tools across multiple OEMs.
• Develop and adhere to an annual call plan aligned with the Timken Latin America regional strategy.
• Key market and country management, including understanding and developing technical product specification for key markets and segments.
• Frequent and active participation in the CRM process via record management, call documentation, and opportunity communication.
• Deliver value-added solutions to customers leveraging Timken's core competitive advantages.
• Provide effective cost/performance management consultation regarding couplings portfolio.
• Interpret customer requests, work with pricing department to prepare detailed customer quotations, and effectively communicate the true opportunity of each inquiry.
• Support regional and national trade shows and other necessary marketing/industry events based on country needs.
• Account management, including technical product specification at key equipment manufacturers, frequent and active participation in the CRM process, and delivering value-added solutions to customers.
• Coordinate sales and marketing projects with corporate office sales, service, application engineering, and marketing.
• Assist in identifying gaps in our product offering and prioritize future development opportunities.
• Identify and provide customer feedback on areas of opportunities within markets.
