Rig Supervisor

This position is responsible for the maintenance and repair of drilling equipment, hydraulic systems and diesel engines. The ideal candidate will have experience in supervising and mentoring teams, ensuring the safety and efficiency of drilling operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze, repair or replace drilling equipment, hydraulic systems and diesel engines.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for drilling equipment.
• Train and mentor drilling equipment technicians on safety procedures and equipment operations.
• Ensure compliance with Parker Drilling's health, safety and environmental policies.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of drilling equipment technicians.
• Identify and report equipment maintenance needs and requirements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of experience in drilling equipment maintenance and repair.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical systems.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, management and vendors.
• Sound reasoning and problem-solving skills.
