Logistics Supply Chain Optimization Coordinator

Metso Outotec is a global leader in the supply of process solutions to the mining, aggregates and oil refining industries. As a Logistics Control Tower Intern, you will be working closely with our internal customers, suppliers and logistics service providers to ensure seamless delivery of our products and services.
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Logistics Control Tower Intern. This role will provide an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development, and will play a key part in optimizing our logistics operations.
The successful candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders. They will also have excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, troubleshoot and resolve complex logistical issues quickly and efficiently.
In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring inbound and outbound shipments, handling freight invoices, booking international shipments, and serving our internal customers in a way that guarantees end customer satisfaction with Metso Outotec services.
You will also be involved in identifying opportunities for improvement related to tools, triggers/inputs to the process and internal processes, and will work closely with our internal customers, suppliers and logistics service providers to implement these improvements.

We are offering a competitive salary of $50,000 per annum, plus additional benefits such as health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.

Essential Qualifications & Experience
A Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field is preferred, or a combination of education and experience. More than three years' experience in logistics, experienced different functional area in logistics such as forwarding, warehouse management, transportation management, import & export, and supply chain management, etc.
Language: Strong English skills in reading and Writing. Smooth oral English.
Computer: Have a good command of MS Office, be familiar with SAP/ERP & TMS & Oracle system is a plus.
