We are seeking a highly skilled Business Data Analyst to join our team at Pyramid Consulting, Inc. as a Business Data Analyst.
Key Responsibilities- Elicit, analyze, and document clear, concise, and detailed business requirements by actively participating in requirement gathering sessions with users.
- Leverage user stories, wireframes, prototypes, and sample reports to drive requirement clarifications and signoffs.
- Help IT development teams understand requirements and validate/clarify questions with users.
- Work closely with Quality Assurance teams for project testing strategies and plans.
- Determine operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, and evaluating output requirements and formats.
- Ensure traceability of business requirements to technical requirements.
- Ensure technical requirements and design meet and support business needs.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the solution delivered meets business needs.
- Help analyze new project scope and feed into SOW/Change Requests.
- Synthesize project scope and turn them into user stories.
- Analyze data and draw inferences that can get translated into business rules.
- Document requirements, business rules/mapping in Jira, Confluence, etc.
- Lead teams and execute projects in Product Owner capacity.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in handling senior business stakeholder management meetings and business communications.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- BI experience (Tableau, Looker, Qlik)
- ETL/ELT applications (IICS, Talend, Matillion, Stitch)
- Cloud database technologies (Snowflake, Redshift, Oracle)
- Cloud technologies as they relate to analytics (GCP, AWS, Azure)
- SFDC project frameworks as it relates to analytics delivery (Scrum, Agile)
