**About HSBC Mexico:**
We are part of Commercial Banking (CMB) at HSBC, a leading international bank with a long history in Mexico.
The primary focus of our team is to increase the lending portfolio by supporting senior members of CMB in structuring credit solutions according to financial needs of corporate, commercial real estate and multinational customers.
This involves identifying and assessing risks of these financings to ensure that credit risk is properly mitigated and the deal complies with Mexican banking regulation and internal policies of HSBC.
**Job Responsibilities:**
- Prepare 100% written Credit applications in English where you will undertake an exhaustive assessment of the customer, including analysis of financial statements, industry analysis and annual projections to predict repayment capacity.
- Work closely with Relationship Managers and clients to monitor compliance of financial and non-financial terms of the lending portfolio.
**Requirements:**
- Strong analysis skills
- Ability to understand business and industry drivers
- Proactive communication/partnership with Relationship Managers and supporting groups
- Strong organization skills and ability to manage/multiple deliverables
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- BS/BA in Economy, Actuarial Science, Financial Management, Public Accounting, Industrial Engineering or Chemical Engineering
- Proficient in English
