About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team at SimCorp. As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions on the Azure cloud platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement automation for infrastructure provisioning and application deployment using Azure configuration tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions.
  • Drive automation, enhance deployment processes, and optimize system performance to ensure seamless operations.
  • Develop and maintain a broad knowledge of IT infrastructure automation in general, with a focus on Azure.
  • Provide excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

Requirements

  • Solid understanding and skills in Azure, with a willingness to deepen knowledge in areas like Citrix DaaS, NetScaler solutions, and Azure configuration tools.
  • Experience with Azure configuration tool stack (ARM templates, Bicep, Az PowerShell, Az CLI).
  • Hands-on experience working with modern CI/CD solutions.
  • Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure automation in general.
  • Experience in designing and implementing automation for infrastructure provisioning and application deployment.
  • Proficiency in Azure DevOps, Windows AD, AAD, DNS, Networking, PowerShell scripting, Python, Ansible/Terraform, and Azure.

Additional Skills

  • Experience in Azure Identity Management and access control security.
  • Knowledge of SecDevOps principles.
  • Experience with cloud monitoring, log analytics, and application insights.
  • Familiarity with Grafana/Prometheus monitoring stack.
