We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Planning Analyst II to join our team at Te Connectivity. As a key member of our Materials Planning Team, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring the movement of materials through our production cycle.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet customer service requirements and minimize inventory levels.
- Collaborate with production and plant support groups to ensure accurate and effective execution of activities.
- Monitor production output and identify discrepancies, taking corrective action as needed.
- Create and release production orders, considering customer request dates, component availability, and resource constraints.
- Manage daily MRP exception reports for Finished Goods, optimizing on-hand inventory and meeting service requirements.
- Execute all MRP exception messages and manually create deliveries for finished products as necessary.
- Maintain accurate material master data in SAP and advise on availability dates of finished products to Customer Service teams.
- Lead continuous improvement activities to impact planning KPIs and drive delivery improvement.
- Perform root cause analysis of late deliveries and drive stock fulfillment for preferred and standard parts.
- At least 3 years of experience in Material Requirement Planning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in SAP and other relevant software systems.
