Payroll Supervisor

The Sr. Supv, Payroll position at Carrier is a key leadership role that oversees the accurate and efficient processing of payroll, ensuring compliance and internal control through team management and the development of effective procedures.

• Update payroll data changes in the payroll system
• Supervise a team of analysts to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, ensuring that documents received are properly completed and authorized prior to processing
• Review payroll reports prior to the live production of the payroll
• Reconcile data errors and communicate/record corrective action
• Respond to employee and management inquiries related to payroll
• Assist with balancing year-end payroll filings and year-end reports according to Federal, State, and Local legislation and deadlines (i.e. W-2s)
• Assist with projects and assignments as required

• 5+ years of experience in a payroll role
• Demonstrated experience in supervisory roles, leading and motivating a team
• Advanced level of English
• College degree in a related field such as Office Administration, Accounting, or Payroll is preferred
• Must have in-depth knowledge of the GlobalView (ADP) SAP-based payroll system
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
• Sound knowledge of Payroll Administration and Human Resources practices and procedures
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with team members
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal personnel at all levels
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
• Excellent organizational skills, time management, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
