**Job Summary**
As a key member of our production team, you will provide day-to-day support to production cells on manufacturing engineering-related matters to ensure availability for assembly processes and equipment. Your collaboration with production will focus on achieving metrics and goal achievement, meeting all times with the applicable safety, quality, health, and environmental, and human resources policies and procedures.
**Responsibilities**:
**1.** Ensure process and assembly equipment, tooling, and fixtures are always available for production.
**2.** Ensure process and assembly tooling, fixtures, and special tools comply with required standards with maximum and minimum inventory.
**3.** Maintain records and keep all drawings, spare parts lists, and technical information for equipment, tooling, fixtures, and special tools.
**4.** Drive continuous improvements opportunities to process and assembly equipment, tooling, and fixtures.
**5.** Develop and implement error-proofing systems to the equipment assigned.
**6.** Implement standardization of standard work and manufacturing best practices.
**7.** Participate in the multifunctional team to achieve metrics on high-five metrics.
**8.** Ensure engineering changes are executed as planned to avoid temporary deviations.
**9.** Evaluate and issue temporary deviations for manufacturing processes if needed.
**10.** Support the training to develop technicians or operators as required.
**11.** Attend customer complaints (8D) and implement corrective action.
**12.** Cost out projects.
**13.** Develop tooling or processes for new products.
**14.** Support and/or participate in continuous improvement activities such as Kaizen, Ideas Programs, and/or demonstrate improvements in goals year over year in our processes or practices aligned to achieve or business goals and objectives.
**15.** Zero Incident Workplace Culture.
**16.** Manufacturing Process Design.
**17.** Manufacturing Strategy Development and Execution.
**Qualifications**:
**Education level required.**
• Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronic Engineer or Similar.
**Years and area of experience required.**
• 2-5 years.
**Technical knowledge**
• SAP MRP system knowledge preferred.
• Experience on manufacturing processes, such as assembly (high labor content and automated process).
• Toolings Fixtures, poka yokes. Six Sigma.
**Soft skills**
• Lean Tools.
• Strong ethics and professional presence required.
• Negotiation skills and experience with suppliers.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proactive and organized.
• Teamwork player.
